It’s a nice camera when it’s actually working, but this thing loses connection way too much. Some nights it’ll just freeze or say it’s offline out of nowhere, and I don’t know what’s causing that. For a baby monitor, that kind of stuff makes me nervous and a little annoyed...

I like the camera and the features are actually useful, not just random extras. It does what I need and setup wasn’t a big headache. My only gripe is the subscription. After already paying for the camera, the monthly plan feels a little pricey, like you get hit twice. Still a solid product, just wish the ongoing cost was lower

The Nanit camera itself has been totally fine overall. The picture is clear and it does what I need it to do, so I don’t really have complaints about the actual product.

But for some reason, getting help with a connection issue was way more frustrating than I expected. I messaged support and waited days for a real response, and the first reply felt like a copy-paste answer that didn’t solve anything. For the price, I just expected them to be a lot quicker when something goes wrong

I bought the Nanit hoping it would help me relax a little and feel like I wasn’t going to miss anything important, but it kind of had the opposite effect. I found myself checking the app more than I expected because I didn’t want to risk missing an alert or something happening while the connection was acting up. Sometimes the alerts felt delayed or a bit random, and of course the video would drop right when I actually wanted to look in. When the video works, it’s clear and nice, but for the price I really expected to feel more confident using it. Instead, I worried about what I might not be seeing.

Expected the video to be a lot better for what it costs. During the day, looks decent enough, but at night it gets really grainy and sometimes freezes right when I’m trying to check on the baby. App says the connection is fine, so not really sure why it gets so blurry. It does work, but the video quality makes it feel like it’s not really worth the money.

This breathing monitor has made nights a lot easier. I like being able to check my baby’s breathing motion quickly without getting up over and over. It gives me peace of mind and helps me actually get some rest.

I got the Nanit with the wall mount, and it does look clean once it’s finally up. The camera works well, feels secure, and overall I don’t really have any major complaints about how it functions.

Getting it installed was the annoying part. The instructions were fine, but like every wall mount ever, it somehow turned into a whole project. Lining everything up took longer than I expected, and I had to redo one part, which was frustrating. Not awful, just definitely not as quick and easy as it looks.

I’ve been really happy with the Nanit sensor wear so far. It feels soft and doesn’t seem to bother my baby at all, which was my main worry. It’s not tight or scratchy, and she sleeps through the night with it on like it’s no big deal. It’s also easy to get on, even during those half-awake middle-of-the-night moments. Kind of a small win, but I’ll take it!

We mostly use our Nanit at night, and I’ve been really happy with how clear the picture is, even when the room is completely dark. I can actually see my baby’s face and little movements without having to guess what’s going on, which gives me a lot of peace of mind. Every now and then it takes a second to adjust, but overall it’s been dependable for us and works really well.

I got it up and running quicker than I expected, which was nice for once. The app steps were actually clear, and I only had to retry the Wi-Fi connection one time, because apparently that was necessary

I’ve been using the Nanit temperature tracking mostly at night, and it’s been helpful. It does sometimes seem like it’s maybe a degree off, but the alerts have worked fine for us and it gives me a little peace of mind when I’m half-asleep checking the app. Weirdly, I remember one night because I was eating cold leftover pancakes at 2 a.m. and the temp alert came through right when I opened the fridge. Overall, not perfect, but definitely useful.

My husband and I both use the nanit with no issues. Added grandma too. She checks in when she babysits. Super simple. Works great.

I brought this along to grandma’s house and it worked great. Setup was quick, and overall it was a really smooth experience from start to finish.

The camera itself works okay, and I haven’t had any major issues with the basic features. But my gut feeling is that the security side could be explained a lot better. Some of the settings feel a little vague, especially around privacy, and that makes me uneasy using it every day. It might be totally fine, but I just don’t feel fully confident about it

We were happy with the Nanit at the beginning. The picture quality was good, setup was fine, and for a while I thought, great, this was worth it. Very peaceful. Very optimistic.

Then around 8 months in, the stand started getting loose and the cable became weirdly fussy. If we moved it even slightly, it would sometimes cut out, which is exactly the kind of tiny inconvenience that is completely fine and not at all irritating when you’re already tired.
Customer service was okay, not awful or anything, but for the price I really expected the whole thing to feel sturdier. I’m calm about it, obviously, but I probably wouldn’t buy it again unless they make it more durable.

After a few months, our Nanit camera started having an issue, so I reached out to support. i was expecting it to be a whole thing, but my gut was wrong in the best way. They checked the warranty, sent out a replacement quickly, and didn’t make me go through a long back-and-forth. With a baby at home, that kind of simple help makes a big difference.

It actually works really well when my home Wi-Fi is behaving, which is more than I can say for some other gadgets I’ve tried. If your connection is stable, you’ll probably be happy with it. If not, well, the device at least does its best.
